About Electronics Department
The department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering presently offers undergraduate (BE/B.Tech) as well as post graduate program (M.Tech) study program. The curriculum of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering covers planning, construction, and maintenance of permanent structures as per Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai (CSVTU) syllabus with its cohesive team of faculty members. In essence, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering is the profession that helps to make the world a more pleasant place to live. Electronics and Telecommunication is a branch dealing with the design of electronic devices like chips, microprocessors, VLSI design, embedded systems etc. It also includes communication part which primarily focuses on the sharing and transfer of information from one place to another. All the companies manufacturing local wrist watches, washing machines, refrigerators, LED TVs, huge turbines, smart phones, marine ships, train, airplanes and all chip designing companies, automobile manufacturing giants recruit Electronics and Telecommunication graduates. The Department is also committed to excellence in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and VLSI Design. We continuously upgrade our curriculum and laboratories to equip students with industry-relevant skills. AI is transforming data-driven applications, while VLSI plays a crucial role in advanced chip design and semiconductor innovation.
The Department of Electronics Engineering offering Undergraduate B. Tech course with an annual intake of 60 in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering aims at producing qualified and dynamic engineers in the fast changing areas of Electronics, Instrumentation and Communication Engineering.
